These treatments tend to focus on improving hydration and condition as opposed to volume. Such Injectable moisture treatments are made of hyaluronic acid (HA) which is a natural component of human skin. Hyaluronic acid is a water-binding molecule that can hold 10,000 times its weight in water, hence, its unique ability to promote hydration.

Hyaluronic acid is made up of long chains that draws and holds water. In dermal fillers the water clumps together and stays put where it’s injected to create volume. With injectable moisturiser treatments, the hyaluronic acid works to spread evenly throughout the face to draw water -ultimately stimulating hydration of the skin without unnecessary volume.

Profhilo is currently the most popular injectable hydration treatment used to treat a Skin Rejuvenation by stimulating bio elasticity. This followed closely by Teoxane Redensity 1 skin booster.
